Student Of The Month June 2019
Sorry for the late posting of Student of The Month.
IT WILL BE BACK ON TRACK FOR JULY 2019!
Junior Belt 10th Kup White Belt to 5th Kup Green Belt Blue Stripe: Adult
Alex Braithwaite (9th Kup): Alex has pushed hard on her syllabus to the point of doing the 10 press ups without putting the knees down. These are a formidable obstacle for a lot of students and I know Alex was daunted but determined enough to persist. This in turn helped with competition spirit with Lani, Alex's daughter who is a little reserved class shall we say, her Mum's drive and determination has pushed both of them to work hard and achieve their 9th Kups. Next set of challenges awaits you.. Well done Alex
Junior Belt 10th Kup White Belt to 5th Kup Green Belt Blue Stripe: Child
Marley Fanton. (5th Kup): Marley really has been a good student since starting and is developing into a good exponent of Tae Kwon-Do and like the majority of our student base, a really likeable student with good qualities. He is a pleasure to teach. He recently acquired his sparring gear and is even more hungry for Tae Kwon-Do lessons now and loves his nick name being emblazoned on his holdall... Well done Marley 'The Hair' Fanton Keep it up.
Senior Belt 4th Kup Blue Belt to any rank of Black Belt: Adult
Clifton Beard (3rd Dan): Again this man like the majority of Black Belts within the club commits himself to attending his own training lessons but also regularly devotes hours into the beginner classes. Helping out other students even when he is not A1 health wise with injuries and slight illnesses etc. You Black Belts are a role model factory for the coloured belts when your all on point with training and teaching. Thank you Clifton and indeed all you Black Belts and Senior Belts; you guys 'create a family atmosphere.'
Senior Belt 4th Kup Blue Belt to any rank of Black Belt: Junior
Kristian Janes (4th Kup) : What can I say; Kristian is only 6 and to be a blue belt with the amount of power and effort he puts in is truly amazing. For his age he rarely messes about, trains seriously and looks as good as an adult when he is doing his Tae Kwon-Do. His free sparring is coming along nicely to and he surprises a lot of you with his kicks and technique. He is going to be even more of a force to be reckoned with in the future. Congratulations Kristian.
